as i sit and watch tv in my front room images on the screen what do they mean to me soldiers running in the mud worlds lack of love death and cities coming down ethiopias starving town as time goes by i look at my life i know ive got to pick myself up now the time is right to stand up and fight for what i need before i take the fall as i get time to think roll it over in my head realizing that im not safe in the comfort of my bed pull myself to my feet open up the window seat realizing that the street is only a step away
